Monday Nov 18

I want to get more surgical with my plays and how I am trading. Monday will go over top stock prospects to look out for and potential entries, as well as current positions we are in.

We're going into this week with my new favorite acronym: FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt). The election rally died down, NVDA earnings, car cut uncertainty, and unemployment numbers. With that in mind, I am not super optimistic and will proceed with caution on all entries.

Long Term:

  • VST: 250% YTD. Utility stock involved in renewables and energy. AI is expected to require 10x more energy than current servers. VST is directly connected with new projects to supply demand for new energy.

  • VRT: 171% YTD. Vertiv is directly connected to NVDA. “Marc Hamilton told Barron’s that all of the initial designs of its NVL72 system use liquid cooling because it offers a 30% energy savings versus traditional air cooling.”

  • NVDA: Simply a step ahead of the competition. It is not too late.

Options:

  • PLTR: Buy the dips; buy contracts 3+ months out to account for variables in the stock market from short-term down markets. Sell when comfortable. I exit at an average of +$100 per contract.

  • OKLO: Buzz and hype are still there. Long-term financials are positive. Nuclear is not going anywhere. Recent earnings dropped the price considerably—great position to enter, taking into account the price drop. 3+ month expiration.

  • LUNR: Last takeoff brought the price from $2 to $12. Scheduled takeoff in two months—play the odds the price will mimic the previous launch. Only consideration is the hypothetical: What if the launch fails? Would you be willing to financially accept that risk?

Current Positions:

  • RCAT: $5 Call exp. 7/18/25 -$77. Read an article about this company. Commercial and military drone data and information company. Least optimistic about this but willing to hold. 452% YTD.

  • RIOT: $16 Call exp. 3/21/25 -$220. Bought when lagging behind Bitcoin's run. I believed it would mimic $BTC price. Did not take into account the technicals of where I was opening. Holding until I see the crypto run start to fall off. Still see potential.

  • RKLB: $21 Call exp. 4/17/25 -$67. Hype is still here. Any company in this industry with any success immediately moons in price. Bought back in after profits, arguably too eager, and did not take into account the ceiling it was hitting.

Crypto:

  • BTC & ETH: Hold and wait. I do think BTC will hit $100K before the end of the year, and ETH will follow.

  • Meme Coins: Huge gimmick. I do have fun with them but do not take them too seriously. Going to be around for the next month until BTC dies down. Worth understanding if you enjoy really high volatility. High risk, high reward. The big catalyst right now is small crypto coins being put on big exchanges like Robinhood, Coinbase, or Binance. Really moves the price.
